Travis Nelson is our Partnering Agent. In this role Travis is responsible to acquire new and expand upon existing agency relationships. Educate and inform clients and prospects on new and existing audiences; provide ongoing and creative consultation. Travis has nearly a decade of experience working with high net worth individuals and institutions in the wealth management and financial planning field. He began his career in an Operations role and was quickly promoted to a Financial Consultant position. After a number of years managing a large book of business, Travis transitioned to an RIA where he would be a hybrid Financial Advisor and Financial Planner. In this position he was responsible for his own clients while also creating financial plans for the six other Advisors at the firm.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Marketing from Fairfield University. While there, he was a four-year member of the men’s lacrosse team, along with being a team captain during his senior year.

Originally from Central New York, Travis currently lives on Long Island with his wife, Lauren, and sons, James and Wesley.
